Our marathon trip is almost done, six more hours in a car and we’ll be HOME! I’m thankful for all the time we’ve spent with family and friends, but am ready to get home and settle back into our routine.
I’ve gotten sick along the way. Grr. Makes for a little more tiredness and some extra doses of crabby thrown in too. I’m hopeful for a nice day tomorrow with Stephan, maybe getting some time to sleep in and a good nap so I can be ready for work Tuesday.
The driving has been fine. Very manageable, much more so than our crazy long drive last Monday. We are hopeful for not too much drama with wind or snow today as we finally get back to CO.
I think my favorite thing about this trip is seeing people I haven’t seen in YEARS and just being able to pick up and talk with them like it’s only been a few weeks since we’ve seen each other.
This post isn’t full of details, but I’m tired and need to get ready to head home so maybe in the next week or so I’ll have time to post some pictures and a few details from MN and NE (which we discovered some people think is New England, not Nebraska). Do they still teach geography anywhere??
