The Life & Times of Mommiehood

Here I am finding my way through uncharted waters.

Over Christmas we got a lot of snow. It was beautiful but obnoxious. I was happy to spend a few extra “bonus” days with Andy who was able to take a few snow days since he has a very long drive and ended up working from home some because it was safer. However, this article (When snow falls in Baghdad …) that Andy sent me portrays another side of snow … in the deserts of Iraq. Obviously snow doesn’t happen there very often and most people have never seen the sky “raining snow.” I loved reading their descriptions of the snowflakes and the wonder and awe that caused a wonderful “natural disaster” … no violence.

One thing that really strikes me about this is that it is a POSITIVE story in the media. Wish it would get more press!

My husband Andrew and I have been married for fourteen years and love living in Colorado! Eight years ago I became a mommie to an awesome little boy and four years ago to my precious little girl. The past few years have been a whirlwind.
