Here I am finding my way through uncharted waters.

today i got to talk with a friend who was visiting for a short time from poland. what a great moment in my day. a smile and a hug, while seemingly inconsequential, can mean the world. it’s just great to know that there are people out there who care about you and remember you and want to be involved in your life, whether they live near or far. of course maintaining a relationship across state lines or oceans can be tough, but not at all impossible. especially with the internet, email, instant messaging and local phone numbers for distant pals. i need to get better at this. my life has been (to a certain, necessary extent) revolving around stephan and his needs. but i also realize that i have very real needs for fellowship and encouragement and i need to make time for those as well. here’s to taking time and making an effort to stay connected with friends & family.

My husband Andrew and I have been married for fourteen years and love living in Colorado! Eight years ago I became a mommie to an awesome little boy and four years ago to my precious little girl. The past few years have been a whirlwind.
